The temple building is made in neo-gothic style. The Rubezhevichi lands passed from hand to hand of different gentry families.
In the 1850s, they passed into the possession of the Wittgensteins. After the Polish uprising, most of the Catholic parishes were transferred by the authorities to the Orthodox Church, including the only church in Rubezhevichi. After that, the population sought permission to build a church, which was received only in 1905.
Construction continued in the period 1907-1911, the church remains active at the present time.
